Since 2003, COAF has transformed more than 120,000 lives in rural Armenia through education, healthcare, social services, and economic development. Every inspiring story — from a student mastering English to a doctor treating patients in a newly equipped clinic — begins with the generosity of our friends and supporters.
This is our most important fundraiser of the year. Donate today to expand opportunity in 2026.

2025 Milestones
Debed School Opening. A Modern School Equipped for STEM Learning.
In Debed, COAF completed the construction of a new public secondary school—replacing an outdated and unsound structure with a bright, modern, and welcoming space to learn and grow. Equipped with STEM labs and a soccer field, the school was designed to support a 21st century curriculum.

SMART Center. Expanding to 19 Cost-Free Afterschool Programs for Rural Youth
The COAF SMART Center expanded its cost-free afterschool offerings to 19 programs, opening new pathways for rural youth to explore their passions and potential. Newly planted lavender fields now serve as a hands-on lab for agrotech students, while a FIFA-standard soccer field has become a proving ground for young champions in the making. Meanwhile, COAF’s new Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program empowers learners to harness drones, sensors, and satellites to design data-driven solutions for Armenia’s future.

Healthcare. Expanding Access and Driving National Health Policy.
This year, 951 children received preventive dental care, 388 benefited from pediatric screenings, and at the Dsegh Health Center, more than 40 individuals accessed state-of-the-art primary care—implementing key international best practices in Armenia for the first time, with early data already informing national policy at the Armenian Ministry of Health.

Child & Family Services. Nurturing Families, Expanding Armenia’s Network of Care.
COAF’s Child and Family Centers supported more than 2,500 children and parents this year, offering social work, psychological counseling, speech therapy, and early childhood development programs. In parallel, 700 professionals received training in social work and psychology, expanding the network of skilled practitioners supporting the well-being of families across rural Armenia.

Economic Development. COAF Social Enterprises Seed Rural Opportunity
COAF's social enterprises were founded to stimulate local economies, and provide revenue for education programs. This year, they did just that. Concept Hotel by COAF has become a thriving tourism hub—hosting 6,000 guests—where every stay helps fund education at the SMART Center. Meanwhile, Lemontani Cheese reached stores nationwide, BEEs Honey sparked growing demand, and the COAF Visitor Center welcomed more than 4,000 visitors to experience local enterprise in action.
