When many years ago little Aghvan Mnatsakanyan said he wanted to become a president, none of his family members laughed and none of them said it was impossible.
“I didn’t like to wash my hands here… I was scared but Narine has helped me overcome my fear,” says a 4-year-old girl from Dsegh community in Lori.
Sateny Petrosyan, a teenager from COAF-supported Debet community in Lori, could not wait to share the exciting news in her video blog, “I was selected as a FLEX finalist and will go to the US in July!”
Aram Petrosyan, a 13-year-old boy from Yerevan, was surprised and proud when COAF invited him to visit the school in Vanand, Armavir region. “What a nice and powerful organization,” he told his mother.
Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that employs community-led approaches aimed at improving the quality of life in rural Armenia, with particular focus on children and youth.
