Roosters’ “Cuckodoodle doo!” in the morning, fresh air, and the sound of silence – a few luxuries of Armenian village life, yet unfamiliar to many urban citizens.
In all cases, we meet people who inspire us and make an impact on the kind of person we become.
To get to know our very own outstanding women and get inspired by them, we asked 10 female COAF employees about their life formula…
She advises young women not to be afraid to speak up, not to limit their dreams, at least in their minds, and not be apathetic to phenomena in their surroundings.
Digital Drawing is one of the oldest programs at SMART that has been available way before the SMART Citizenship Curriculum. In the curriculum learning format, it is one of the Art programs together with Performing Arts and Drawing.
Together with advanced engineering and entrepreneurship programs, art has a special place in the COAF SMART Citizenship Curriculum.
“I was living alone in Yerevan, so I decided to have a cat. Cats are very independent, and they don’t require much maintenance,” tells Taron.
Unfortunately, rural communities in Armenia are mostly devoid of entertainment places such as movie theaters, theaters, museums, and cafes.

Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that employs community-led approaches aimed at improving the quality of life in rural Armenia, with particular focus on children and youth.
