When 14-year-old Sargis Alekyan from Vanadzor first stepped into the SMART Center three years ago, little did he know that this journey would not only provide him with professional guidance but also pave the way for him to grace a real stage.

Recalling the numerous programs and workshops he eagerly attended, it was evident from the sparkle in Sargis's eyes that his passion for performing arts significantly influenced his career choice.

“I’ve fallen in love with theater thanks to COAF," Sargis explains. "COAF, especially my program instructor Tatul, played a crucial role in fostering my love for theater and cinema. They inspired my decision to pursue theatrical art and to subsequently join the Vanadzor Theater Studio," shares Sargis.

His debut role didn't take long. Currently, Sargis is actively involved in the production of "The Oyster and the Pearl" at the Hovhannes Abelian Vanadzor State Drama Theater, where he plays a key role.
