Accounting Clerk

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for experienced and quick-thinking team members in the field of accounting to take on the role of an Accounting Clerk at the Concept Hotel and Conference Center by COAF. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for carrying out daily accounting functions at the hotel, including processing payments, issuing invoices, and controlling inventory movement. YOUR TEAM

By taking on the Accountant clerk role at Concept Hotel & Conference Center, you will join the COAF accounting team and work under direct supervision of the Chief Accountant.

YOUR DUTIES
  • Reviewing incoming and outgoing invoices in the Tax Service system and accurately recording them in the accounting software.
  • Tracking inventory items, recording their inflows and outflows across storage facilities, performing inventory audits as needed, and maintaining accurate stock level management.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and correctness of components used in inventory item assemblies.
  • Assisting with fixed asset inventory audits as required.
  • Overseeing cash register transactions to ensure compliance with technical standards and operational regulations.
  • Managing and recording cash inflows and outflows, ensuring accurate and timely deposits into the bank account.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and availability of QR codes and price tags.
  • Managing and recording accounts receivable, accounts payable, and prepayments.
  • Overseeing the accurate recording of revenue and expenses.
  • Maintaining proper organization and availability of both physical and signed copies of documentation.
  • Facilitating daily communication with partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax legislation and other relevant legal regulations during task execution in collaboration with the accounting team.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.

  • TrioSoft and TrioRestaurant software (preferred).
  • Tax legislation and other relevant legal regulations in the field.
  • Knowledge in Russian and English.
  • MS Excel and GSuit

The “Children of Armenia” Charitable Fund (COAF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization aimed at improving the quality of life in rural Armenia, with a particular focus on children and youth. COAF’s target development areas are education, healthcare, child and family services, as well as social and economic development. COAF launched its programs in 2004, starting in one village and expanding to 82 villages and communities across the country with an investment of more than $70 million, impacting well over 107,000 people across rural Armenia.

Since 2015, COAF has developed and started implementing SMART Initiatives. COAF SMART is designed to advance a generation across the rural world through education that will benefit individuals, societies, and the environment. COAF SMART is an exemplary model of development and is presently being replicated in other regions and communities throughout Armenia. The first COAF SMART Center was inaugurated on May 27, 2018 near the village of Debed, Lori Region.
