When 14-year-old Sargis Alekyan from Vanadzor first stepped into the SMART Center three years ago, little did he know that this journey would not only provide him with professional guidance but also pave the way for him to grace a real stage.
Recalling the numerous programs and workshops he eagerly attended, it was evident from the sparkle in Sargis’s eyes that his passion for performing arts significantly influenced his career choice.
“COAF, especially my program instructor Tatul, played a crucial role in fostering my love for theater and cinema. Inspired by this, I made the decision to pursue theatrical art and subsequently joined the Vanadzor Theater Studio,” shares Sargis.
His debut role didn’t take long. Currently, Sargis is actively involved in the production of “The Oyster and the Pearl” at the Hovhannes Abelian Vanadzor State Drama Theater, where he plays a key role.
